Dr. Melanie Reed and Dr. Mark Reed are a husband and wife podiatry team that has been in practice since 1990 and are board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. The doctors have been at the same medical office located in the Placentia-Linda Hospital Medical Building for since 1990 and have no other part-time locations. The doctors met while first year medical students in an anatomy class. From there, the doctors married after medical school and attended the same residency program. The doctors attended medical school at the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco for three years and finished their medical school training at the U.S.C. / L.A. County Medical Center. The doctors completed residency at a joint program at the Veterans Administration Hospital San Francisco and the University of California at San Francisco. Both doctors are active with community related activities and have been providing seminars and educational services to numerous organizations and companies through the years.
The doctors live in Yorba Linda and have two sons named Marcus William Reed who was born June 10, 1999 and Mitchell Johnathan Reed who was born April 10, 2003. Both doctors enjoy snow skiing, scuba diving and other outdoor activities such as camping, hiking and white water rafting. Dr. Mark Reed additionally plays the guitar and there are many examples of his photography at the doctor's office.
