If you would like to email the doctors about your foot pain or podiatry problem, the doctors will try to answer your questions by returning your email with a brief response. However, sometimes inappropriate questions are asked such as opinions on current medical care or surgery. These types of inquires will not be responded to since the doctor can not examine you to reach an opinon about the current care being rendered by your doctor. Patients who have urgent medical problems, need a second surgical opinion or have HMO treatment problems should be addressed with their current treating doctor or by seeking the second opinion by making an appointment with a Podiatrist. A concise email is going to gain a response and not a ten page documentary of your foot pain or podiatry problem. If you do not relieve a response it is because your question is not information orientated but an attempt to get medical treatment over the internet. Physicians and Surgeons can not provide treatment information specific to a given patient without examining the patient.

For HMO patients, such as Kaiser patients, who are unhappy with the treatment progress or the type of treatment being rendered, we can evaluate your podiatry or foot pain problem and in many cases we will call the Podiatist on staff at the HMO and discuss your findings and the appropriate level of care that should be provided to you. For many patients, this type of second opinion intervention can resolve a very fustrating expereience and get you on track quickly to resolve your foot problem.
